I was very determined to get a good study score for Specialist Mathematics However, on top of balancing all my other subjects and activities outside of school, I needed a tutor. This was super helpful for me as by the time I did the exam, I felt super comfortable with any sort of question they would ask. My tutor was always able to gave me techniques and strategies to help with difficult Maths problems. In the end, I did super well in Specialist Mathematics, and I have to thank my tutor for helping me get there.

Apex Tuition Australia provides in-person tutoring across Melbourne and Sydney. With our large team, we are able to service all subjects across Melbourne and Sydney. In terms of exact location, this is dependent on the students. Some students prefer home visits, while others like to do sessions at a local library or school.
We are expanding our in-person operations in 2024 but for the mean time we are only offering online tutoring for Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

Most of our tutors are recently graduated high school students who finished in the top 3% of their subjects with a median ATAR of 99.00. Many of them have gone on to further study the subjects they tutor at university. All our tutors are passionate educators and pride themselves on their knowledge in their chosen subjects. To become a tutor with Apex, all tutors go through a rigorous application and interview process as well supply us with a valid Working With Children's Check.

Yes, all of our tutors are familiar with the current curriculum. We recognise how important it is that your tutor is an expert in the curriculum they are teaching.
Each curriculum in Australia is slightly different and has its own nuances that are important for the tutor to know. We will always endeavour to match you with a tutor who is intimately familiar with the curriculum your child is completing.
At the moment, we have tutors who have completed the VCE, HSC, QCE, SACE, WACE and IB.
For younger year levels, we will endeavour to find a tutor who has completed the same course but this is less vital.

Communication with the tutor is very easy. The tutor will make contact with you and then you are free to communicate with the tutor in whatever way works best. Our Operations team is also always here to help if you need any assistance.
